Founded by Pedro Poth, Artifex Vitae is an international boutique architectural, construction and project management firm specializing in commercial and residential projects.

Pedro Poth
Architect & Owner
Pedro Poth was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on July 9, 1976. He obtained the title of Architect in 2000 from Santiago Mariño University Institute (Porlamar Extension).
He received recognition for the best student performance and his thesis project, entitled “Laguna de la Restinga Techno-Ecological Park,” obtained the highest qualification, and was one of four works to be exposed to the public as the best works of the School of Architecture.
Pedro continued his studies in the area of Civil Works Inspection, obtaining the “Certification of Civil Works Inspection” from Central University of Venezuela in 2004.
Since then, he has carried out construction and design projects in Venezuela, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, and Panamá.
This has led him to develop and execute different types of projects for much of his professional career and also serve as a project manager for a variety of projects for other companies since 2000.
Pedro currently develops custom housing projects in Panamá, primarily in the Pedasi area, where he established his main office.

Belkys Castillo
Administrative Support
Belkys Josefina Castillo was born in 1975, in the Portuguese state of Araure. She studied their basic and secondary education in the population of Rio Acarigua, Portuguesa, Venezuela then went on to study Business Administration at the Portuguese State Polytechnic Institute.
Since 2008, she has held the position of Administrator in various private companies, contributing her professional knowledge in all the fields of administration, including purchases and coordinating the Sales Departments, and managing inventory under her charge. In the construction field, she is in charge of all the materials and suppliers, as well as the payroll of the workers.
I recommend Pedro Poth and his company for all types of building projects. We have known Pedro for almost four years as a reputable and professional builder and Project Manager. He cared about our home remodel project and managed it closely every step of the way even when we were not in Panama. Pedro is extremely dependable and offered a fair price for the work he did on our home. I would not hesitate to hire Pedro and his company again.

Pedro was the project manager for the construction of my home from August 2021-2022. In addition to being passionate about my project, he was consistently available, professional, and always went the extra mile. When there was a problem, he made sure it was fixed even if it meant coming up with creative solutions to ensure that I got what I wanted. Because he places a high priority on relationships, I consider him a friend to this day.
